Important Ministries

Section 1 SUNDAY SCHOOL


(a) The Sunday School department shall work in harmony and co-operation with District Executive Committee and sectional Sunday School Committees along with the church pastors to bring out the programs to practice.

(b) District Sunday School Committee This committee shall have five members including a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee Member. This committee shall be elected at the meeting of all ministers and secretaries of all recognized Sunday Schools in the District, The Chair- man and Vice Chairman shall be ordained ministers who are having experience in Sunday School Ministry.

(c) School Committee for each section having five members namely Sunday School Convener, Joint Convener Secretary naeasurer and a Committee Member and they shall be elected from the meeting of all ministers and secretary of all recog nized Sunday schools in the section. The section Sunday School convener and joint convener shall be Certificate hold. ers of any kind from the district who are having experience in Sunday School ministry.

(d) A church level Sunday school committee shall be elected with the church pastor as the Headmaster, to work along with section Sunday School Committee.

(e) Tenure of the Committee: The Tenure of the District Sunday School Committee shall be in office for a period two years are till the next election. The Tenure Section and Church Sunday School Committee shall be one year.

(f) The election of District Sunday School Committee shall be conducted biennially. The election of section and church level committee shall be conducted annually.

(g) 50% of tithes received at the section Sunday School com- mittee shall be offered to District Sunday school Committee.

(h) To got elected, all members shall have to receive two-thirds vote

Section 2 YOUTH MINISTRY (CHRIST’S AMBASSA- DORS)


(a) This department shall be called “Christ’s ambassadors The motto of this is “Christ for All, and All for Christ.

(b) Alm to encourage the Spiritual life and fellowship of the youth in the district and to build up evangelization.

(c) Duties:
(1) Arrange and conduct district youth camps and general meetings with the cooperation and supervision of The District Executive Committee.
(2) Arrange and conduct section youth camps and general meetings with the cooperation and supervision of The Sec tion Committee.
(3) Conduct the youth meeting at each local assembly as a part of it, and with the direction and cooperation of the church pastor.

(D) Membership:
(1) All brothers and sisters in the age group of 14 to 40 years.
(2) The members shall be saved, baptized and owning good tes- timony in the area.

(e)Election of Officers: There shall be committees in dis- trict, section and church level having a Chairman, Vice Chair- man, Secretary, Treasurer and a Committee Member.

(f) The election and qualification of District C.A., Chair- man: Both the District Chairman and Vice chairman for C.A shall be ordained pastors.

(g) They shall be elected through secret ballot in the General Conference and shall have 2/3 votes majority.

(h)Committee election: As per the direction of the District Executive Committee, the election shall be conducted bienni ally at the convened representatives meeting by the District C.A., committee.

(i)Tenure of the Committee: The District C.A Committee shall be in office for a period of two years or till the next election The tenure of Section and church C.A Committee shall be one year.

(j)The Electoral College:
(1) All ministers below 40 years of age.
(2) Delegates sent from local assemblies 1 for 10 members, 2 for 20 members and 3 for 25 or more members.
(3)  The local C.A. members shall be those who have paid the membership fee prescribed by the district C.A. Committee.
(4) The sectional and church level committees may be elected at their decision. But they shall keep the election method of District C.A Committee as far as possible. Section President and Vice President shall be certificate holders of any kind from the District.

(k) Finance: C.A shall be responsible for their financial matters. The earnings of C Ashall be, as of the local assembly, also of SIAG

Section 3 WOMEN’S MINISTRY COUNCIL


The District WMC of this department shall have five members including a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee Member. It shall work with an aim to encourage the spiritual life and fellowship of the sisters in the District and to build up the zeal for evangelization.

District WMC Election

The District WMC committee shall be elected Bi-ennially at the meeting of two representatives from every local church (they shall be president and Secretary of the Women’s fellow- ship from every church) and this meeting shall be convened by the District WMC in consultation with the District Executive Commitee. Tenure of the District W.M.C. Committee shall be notice for a period of two years are till the next election. Section WMC Election

The Section WMC Committee

The Section WMC Committee shall be elected annually at the meeting of two representatives from every local church (they shall be president and secretary of the womens felloship from every church) and this meeting shall be convened by the sec Son WMC in consultation with the section Committee. Tenure of Section W.M.C. shall be one year.

Local Church WMC Election

The Local Church WMC shall elected by the Local WMC Mem- bers. Tenure of the Chuch WMC shall be one year.

General Activities

(1) It is better to select the wife of the pastor as the President of Women’s Fellowship in the churches. Those who are not having Women’s Fellowship shall start it sooner.
(2) Women’s Fellowship meeting shall be conducted at least twice in a month.
(3) All sisters shall participate in the house visiting, hospital visiting and prayer session along with the pastor’s wife.
(4) An offering shall be collected in the meetings and the tithe of the offering shall be sent to the section.
(5) Sectional level Women’s Fellowship meeting shall be con- ducted once in every three months, and all sisters shall participate in it.
(6) Whenever needed, the section committee can invite and use district committee of Women’s Fellowship.
(7) 25% of the common fund collected at sections shall be sent to District Women’s Fellowship.
(8) District Women’s Fellowship meeting shall be conducted at least once in year.
