The aims and objectives of the Southern District shall be to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ (Mattew 28:19,20;Mark 16:15-20). The following are the methods for carrying out this ministry.
Section 1
By the promulgation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Section 2
By the establishing of Assemblies of God churches for the worship of God and to develop them in general unity of our distinctive Pentecostal testimony.
Section 3
To encourage and promote the edification of believers.
Section 4
To provide a basis of fellowship among Christians of precious faith.
Section 5
To train Pastors and Christian workers for the District.
Section 6
To help with the welfare, education, and training of the poor and underprivileged in a controlled Christian atmosphere of love and kindness
Section 7
By establishing such departments, ministries, and Christian institutions as may be needed for the propagation of its work.
